Introducing a new tangle: Minton

On today’s Tangle Time sessions, we are premiering another wonderful tangle by CZT Alyssa Herget.

This stemmed from a creation of Alyssa’s on our Festive Tangles sessions. After a small amount of coaxing (begging and pleading, LOL just kidding), Alyssa created step-outs for this wonderful tangle, Minton. When I asked about the name, she said this reminded her of the shuttlecock for badminton – so she named it Minton.

Here are samples and Alyssa’s step-out. Note that it can be used in a number of ways. Maybe you will find a new one?

When you post your work, make sure to use #minton and tag Alyssa. If you are on Instagram, make sure to follow @alydoodleCZT while you are there!

Have fun with this !! Thank you Alyssa for adding to our tangle library and experience! What a fun tangle!!!

Happy Tangling!!!!

Introducing a new tangle: Banner

Today, in our Festive Tangles Classes, I thought it appropriate to introduce a new tangle by Debbi Minero – Banner. It’s perfect for all occasions, but especially during the festive season.

When Debbi posted it in our TangleAddicts Community Facebook Group , she simply said “This just popped into my head.” We love it when this happens!!!

Here is some of Debbi’s gorgeous work!!

Introducing a new tangle: C.Boy

This is the first World Premier on ‘Tough’ Tangle Tuesday! (Join us – Free!) As I was looking for a tangle to ‘torture’ everyone with, I was looking at the impossible triangle/square/other shapes and then Debbi Minero’s tangle, C.Boy popped into my head. I hadn’t shared it yet AND it was perfect.

Here’s what Debbi’s wrote on her post where she first shared C.Boy: “And last but not least…C.boy (aka Carter boy) last grandson. This one was a challenge, but once you can see it, you can do it. It does require focus and you may want to start with a pencil string. Close with simple lines or have fun adding different closures.” (The challenge was put forth by fellow TangleAddict and CZT Alyssa Herget, to create a tangle for each of her grandchildren.)

Introducing a new tangle: Sharky

On this week, I’m doing this Premier a little different. While Debbi Minero put this out a while ago, I was looking for the right time to premier it and it’s now! Introducing Sharky.

Here is Debbi’s post where she first shared Sharky: “Aly challenge tangle #2. Designed for my grandson Mason and named by him. It unexpectedly can be used in so many ways. As a stand alone, in a grouping, in a grid, organic, as a critter or to represent a holiday. The options are endless… Meet Sharky.. #sharky

The Aly Challenge (fellow TangleAddict and CZT Alyssa Herget) , if I remember correctly, was for Debbie to create a tangle for each of her grandchildren.

Introducing a new tangle: Web Flower

On this week’s Tangle Time sessions, we had another World Premier! Debbi Minero is still on her amazing creative streak with another amazing tangle, Webflower.

Debbi says that the tangle got it’s name because it starts off looking like a spider web. She added later, “This one hit me in a dream or I woke up with it on my mind. Today I realized that it must have started with the center and probably inspired by the design on my tp.”

Here is some of Debbi’s gorgeous work!!
