Today’s Inktober prompt is Bijouism No. 4 “Come out of your Shell”.
Bijou explains, “Well, I never come ALL the way out of my shell. But if I didn’t come most of the way out and really “stick my neck out” I’d never get anywhere. I’d certainly not be able to create my beautiful Zentangle art.” (from Zentangle.com)
Some of our TangleAddicts Inktober prompts are going to be philosophical. It’s all about thinking outside of your box, and figuring out how can you take it to YOUR next level? Next level doesn’t have to be a leap. It can be a baby step. We all have our nemesis items. It doesn’t have to be with this tangle, but find something, tanglewise, that makes you want to stay in your shell and take a step outside, even if it’s just a little one. I hope you will share your journey!

Some tanglers like to challenge themselves to do a tangle a day and collect them by the month. There are many ways to do this. If you would like to create one large piece from this monthly collection, HERE are some neat template ideas. You can probably enlarge them and print them OR trace them, OR maybe it sparks another idea!
