On these sessions, we had a Red Carpet, World Premier event, premiering the new tangle, Minton, by CZT Alyssa Herget.
Alyssa created this tangle during our Festive Tangles Sessions, and as she says, “after many requests, she created the step-outs.” Click HERE for Alyssa’s Step-out. My version is HERE.
If you haven’t yet attended a Tangle Time Session, first – we’d love to have you join! Second, our purpose is to explore a tangle or two. Just as in the Zentangle® methodology, there are no expectations. It’s our own individual journey and everyone on the call and in our Tangle Addicts Community enjoys celebrating each other’s work.

Introducing a new tangle: Minton
On today’s Tangle Time sessions, we are premiering another wonderful tangle by CZT Alyssa Herget.
This stemmed from a creation of Alyssa’s on our Festive Tangles sessions. After a small amount of coaxing (begging and pleading, LOL just kidding), Alyssa created step-outs for this wonderful tangle, Minton. When I asked about the name, she said this reminded her of the shuttlecock for badminton – so she named it Minton.
Here are samples and Alyssa’s step-out. Note that it can be used in a number of ways. Maybe you will find a new one?

Introducing a new tangle: Dahlly
On today’s Tangle Time sessions, we are premiering another wonderful tangle by CZT Alyssa Herget.
Back in January we introduced Dahllylite because the beginning stages of Dahlly made me think of a snowflake and I was prepping for our Winter Snowflakes Class. Alyssa in all her amazingness, created Dahllylite and we featured it in that class. NOW, we properly introduce the precursor, Dahlly! Here is the story from Alyssa:
“The original tangle I was working on was playing with the Holly Leaves from the tangle Meriberries that we did. I ended up putting them in a circle, like how this started, and I kept blooming it outward. It kept going after this step, and turned into a beautiful flower that looked close to the Dahlia flower. So I combined Dahlia + Holly to come up with Dahlly. The pronunciation of “Dahlly” sounds like “Dolly” which is also what my dad used to call me when I was growing up, so it’s a bit of a nod to him as well. :)”

On today’s Tangle Time sessions, we are premiering another wonderful tangle by CZT Alyssa Herget.
Introducing DahllyLite! Here is the story from Alyssa:

Alyssa and I were chatting about this tangle and it looked so much like a snowflake at step 6, Alyssa created this Lite version for our Winter Snowflakes class. Thank you, Alyssa!!! The full tangle will be premiered later.

Introducing a new tangle: upNtuck
On the 3/17/2022 Tangle Time sessions, we are introducing a new tangle from our Tangle Addicts community, upNtuck by CZT Alyssa Herget.
Alyssa’s inspiration came from playing with the Zentangle® original tangle, Fengle.
