Today’s Inktober prompt is: Enjoy the Shade – The Shadow Box technique
“For a snail that’s a double entendre (I love using my French now and then). I love hanging out in the shade beneath the ferns. I also love shading my tangles. How do I do it? That’s a secret and a snail needs some secrets.” Bijou is so goofy! It’s no secret that shading is the magic in Zentangle! In today’s tangle, it creates the perfect set up for the Shadow Box Technique. This is when we have the illusion of amazing depth. As if we are looking into a box and the tangle is in side. Have fun with this!

Some tanglers like to challenge themselves to do a tangle a day and collect them by the month. There are many ways to do this. If you would like to create one large piece from this monthly collection, HERE are some neat template ideas.
