Today’s Inktober prompt is the Bijouism – Reflect
No. 1: At least not in creating Zentangle Art there aren’t. I read that a mistake is “an action or judgment that is misguided or wrong.” When I make a deliberate mark, how can it be wrong? How can it be misguided? It might reveal a new pattern or a new discovery, but I would never call it a “mistake.”
This mantra kept going through my head, and out of my mouth – on the video – as I played with this tangle. Along with No Mistakes, there is always a way to course correct!

Today’s Inktober prompt is: Enjoy the Shade – The Shadow Box technique
“For a snail that’s a double entendre (I love using my French now and then). I love hanging out in the shade beneath the ferns. I also love shading my tangles. How do I do it? That’s a secret and a snail needs some secrets.” Bijou is so goofy! It’s no secret that shading is the magic in Zentangle! In today’s tangle, it creates the perfect set up for the Shadow Box Technique. This is when we have the illusion of amazing depth. As if we are looking into a box and the tangle is in side. Have fun with this!
These prompts are for taking yourself to your next level, whatever that may be.
